No Spam!

SearchKing is against "spam" and the Portal programs were not designed to be used for "spam" in any way. This is one of our biggest concerns and will not be tolerated.

No Dupes

In order to promote fairness and provide this opportunity to as many people as possible, we can not allow any one person to operate more than one portal site about any one topic.
NOTE: This rule does not apply to the Portal Pro Program. The Portal Pro is for commercial applications and you may have as many Portal Pros as you like under any topic.

Stay On Topic

The key to your success is in not trying to get everybody just for the sake of traffic but to appeal to a targeted market that will appreciate and respect your expertise on a specific topic. If you have something of value to offer on a different topic, simply get another name for a different Portal.

Fresh Content

Any Portal that does not add a minimum of 25 URL's to their data base, or make some significant change to their portals within any 60 day period will be deleted and the name be made available to the public.
NOTE: This rule does not apply to the Portal Pro Program. The Portal Pro is a paid web hosting service.

Proper Categories

SearchKing believes in supporting Freedom on the Net. We do not limit this opportunity for anyone or discriminate against any group or individual based on race, sex, age, sexual orientation, political affiliation, religion or geographic location. We do require that you list your portal in the proper category. Any attempt to trick or mislead anyone will result in your Portal site being deleted and the name being made available to the public.

The backbone of SearchKing is honesty. We believe the public has the right to access information whether we agree with the content of that information or not, however; we do expect you to represent the content you present honestly.
NOTE: For the Portal Pro Program failure to comply with this rule may be grounds for termination of your account.

Illegal Activity

SearchKing will not allow any illegal activity on its servers. We can not allow the promotion, advertising or support of any such illegal activity.

Furthermore, we are not lawyers and we have no way of knowing what the future holds. In the event that at some point your portal topic should become illegal, at that point, we would have to delete the site or terminate your account.

Disputes

All disputes will be decided by SearchKing, Inc. The decisions of SearchKing will be final. While we want nothing but success for all of our portal family members, we realize that specific problems may arise from specific members! SearchKing MUST do whatever necessary to provide the best service possible for the greatest number of members. We have become very good at coming up with solutions to problems, however; we in no way guarantee that you get everything you want for any reason. In the event that there is a problem we can not find a solution to and agree on, SearchKing will, without question of authority, make the final determination.

Responsibility for Content

You are solely responsible for the content on your portal site. SearchKing, Inc. assumes no responsibility or liability whatsoever for content on your portal site. The content on your Portal site may or may not reflect the views, ideas, principles, morals, ethics, or policies of SearchKing, Inc.

Warranties and Guarantees

SearchKing makes absolutely no guarantee or warranty of any kind regarding the availability, operations or potential income of any Portal site.

SearchKing will make EVERY reasonable attempt to provide a reliable quality service with the opportunity for you to generate income using the portal site, however; you agree to hold SearchKing completely harmless due to any malfunction, problem or lack of income.

SearchKing is under the same limitations as every other service provider in the world. We do not "own" the internet and therefore make no guarantees regarding it's performance.

As far as potential income, SearchKing does not guarantee, promise suggest or even imply any level of income from your Portal site. The opportunity to make money using this tool is there and it is there equally for each member, however, it is only a tool and how you use it is strictly up to you. How much money you can make using this tool depends on you and your efforts.

SearchKing's Right To Advertise

SearchKing will provide you with page templates that will have a header and a footer which SearchKing will use for branding and advertising. You must use the SearchKing's logos on your pages linked back to SearchKing. On your front page the only requirement is the SearchKing Logo with the link back to Searchking. However, on the interior pages you must leave the top spot and the footer for our advertising placements (banners and/or buttons). The rest of the space is yours to control any way you like. Sell, rent, give away banner and sponsorships. Sell or give away classified ads, provide links to related material, basically do whatever you feel will make you money and provide the internet with a quality resource about your chosen topic.
NOTE: This rule does not apply to the Portal Pro Program. SearchKing does not derive its income for the Portal Pros through advertising, rather we generate income from monthly web hosting fees. Therefore, all we require on a Portal Pro is the SearchKing logo with a link back to SearchKing on the front page. All other space is completely yours to do with what you will. We encourage you to display the logo as much as possible as it only makes it better for you and all of the other portal partners, however, it is not required.
