QUESTION:
I just began adding sites to my portal, but the links dont seem to work right when I do a test search. (my SK portal: autographexplorer.com)
For example:
I added petermarkrichman.com and in the search results the url shows up as: http://www.autographexplorer.com/bin/petermarkrichman.com which is a dead link..
The curious thing is on the featured listings the correct hyperseek url works:
http://www.autographexplorer.com/bin/hyperseek.cgi?ID=1044996755
What do I need to do??
ANSWER:
You had the Listing Template: as detail
I changed it to link and the links works fine.
THIS IS DONE BY:
- Go to: HYPERSEEK
- then click on: Edit Sites [ Directory ]
- Then: autograph companies
- Then: ADMIN: [ Edit ] under the title
- Down in the purplish box you will see
- Ranking: 77 - Best (Cool)5 - Great3 - Good1 - Average
Listing Template: link bizcard detail link X-Factor/Link Rel.
The listing Template is what you want to select to LINK.
Besure to validate and update under the Utilities each time that you update
anything on the categories.
